Frequently Asked Questions

QPrint is compatible with all printers that support the IPP (Internet Printing Protocol). This includes AirPrint printers and many other network printers. Unlike the iOS system printing app, QPrint is not limited to just AirPrint devices.

QPrint supports both automatic and manual double-sided printing. For automatic double-sided printing, select the option in the print settings if your printer supports it. For manual double-sided printing, QPrint will guide you through the process of printing odd pages first, then reinserting the paper to print even pages.

To scan documents, open QPrint and tap on the "Scan" button. Position your device's camera over the document, and QPrint will automatically detect the edges. You can then adjust the scan area if needed, and tap "Capture" to scan the document. You can scan multiple pages into a single document.

To print documents from other apps, use the iOS share feature. Open the document in the other app, tap the share button, and select QPrint from the share options. This will open the document in QPrint, where you can adjust print settings before printing.

QPrint only temporarily stores documents and images in the app's sandbox temporary directory during the printing process. Once printing is complete, these files are immediately deleted. QPrint does not permanently store any of your documents or images.
